Sankalp Taste of India – A Flavor Bomb Worth Every Bite! If you’re craving Indian food that truly hits the mark, Sankalp Taste of India is an absolute must-visit. We came in with high expectations and left completely blown away—especially by the Malai Chicken Tikka, Lamb Chops, and the delightful Dahi Puri. The Malai Chicken Tikka was melt-in-your-mouth perfection—creamy, tender, and delicately spiced. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, with just the right hint of smokiness from the grill. And the Lamb Chops? Out of this world. Perfectly marinated and charred, with a bold, rich flavor that made them the star of the night. To start, we ordered the Dahi Puri, and it was the perfect appetizer—crispy puris filled with tangy yogurt, chutneys, and a burst of freshness in every mouthful. Light, refreshing, and just what you want to wake up your taste buds. But what really elevated our experience was the outstanding service from Ripon, our server. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. He gave great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and made us feel like welcome guests rather than just customers. Final verdict: Amazing food, top-notch service, and a dining experience you’ll want to repeat. If you go, ask for Ripon—he’ll make sure you have an unforgettable meal. — Can’t wait to come back!

The wait time is definitely worth it. The food tastes amazing because they prepare it per order and don't prepare the food in bulk. Sizzlers are amazing. North Indian food has a lot of variety and the taste is very good. I have not seen any other Indian restaurant with such diverse menu. Must try faluda after dinner.

Very cozy atmosphere and excellent food. So many good choices in the menu, it is hard to decide. I really liked their butter chicken with parota. We also got their giant four foot dosa for the table, it was very good and everyone enjoyed the experience. Filter coffee was not the best I had but was fine, same for masala tea. Overall, I would come back here for dinner again. Lots of veg options as well for the vegetarians in your party.

Yesterday I dined at Sankalpa and was thoroughly impressed by the authenticity and quality of the cuisine. While there was a 30-minute wait due to the restaurant’s evident popularity, the delay was justified by the exceptional dishes that followed. The Paneer Balti stood out with its perfectly balanced spices and tender paneer in a rich, aromatic gravy. Paired with the Garlic Naan—soft, buttery, and infused with fresh garlic—it was a culinary highlight. Special recognition goes to Ripon, a new staff member, whose attentive service and thoughtful recommendations enhanced the experience. Despite being new, his professionalism and warmth reflected the restaurant’s commitment to hospitality. Though patience was required, the wait underscored the care taken in preparing each dish. Sankalpa delivers an authentic taste of India with remarkable consistency. Highly recommended for those seeking quality over haste—I will certainly return.

Had a lovely experience at Sankalp Fremont! The ambience and vibes were amazing, stylish, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed evening. We ordered veg Hakka noodles, egg fried rice, Mumbai sandwich, lamb chops, paneer chili veg frankie, kesar pista falooda, and kesar pista ice cream. The noodles, fried rice, and lamb chops were all flavorful and satisfying. The frankie didn’t quite work for me — I’d try something different next time. Definitely looking forward to going back, and would recommend checking out their sizzlers too! Tip: Reserve early, or if walking in, don’t forget to write your name at the entrance!

Really good Indian food. Their menu is very expansive and also includes things like Dosa and Indo-Chinese dishes. We tried a variety of plates that included Manchurian, Momo, Chicken Lollipops, Paneer, Bullet Naan, and more. The service was a little slow, but I suspect it was because things were being made fresh.

Located in Fremont HUB, it is a very busy Indian restaurant. They don’t take reservations we came on Friday at 7 pm and they told us the weight would be half an hour. We observed the people who show up an hour later the wait time actually increases so the right time would be more than an hour. We chose to sit at the patio because we didn’t wanna wait actually it was pretty warm with the heaters on. We ordered chat. It was delicious. We also ordered dosa which came with two chutneys: tomato and coconut. It also included sambar. The food was delicious, but not to the point that I would be craving come here again and again I will definitely come back but you know what I mean.
